When initiating a One-on-One, a barrier will be created to take damage in your stead. Successfully breaking the barrier will enter One-on-One.ĭuring One-on-One, you will engage an enemy in single combat for a period of time. You can break the barrier by attacking with enough force. Some enemies will create a barrier when in Knockdown. Item will automatically be used after 1 cycle of the Order Ring. You can also swap Supporters with characters in battle, as well as order them to use items. Supporters may activate “Support Order” once the Order Ring hits the corresponding Cycle, based on the number of cycles completed. The ring surrounding Supporters is called the Order Ring. Supporters themselves do not participate in battle directly, but they can help the party in battle. Supporter is essentially the forth member in your party. Attacking enemies with attributes that the enemy is weak in not only increases the damage, but also will push the enemy back on the Timeline and make it easier to trigger Knockdown.

Some skills have attributes, and each character is skilled with different attributes. When knocked down, all accumulated Ether is lost and Ether recovery speed decreases.Įnemy or ally in Knockdown will be temporarily unable to move. Using skills that prevent combo reset is key when you see the enemy charging up for such attacks.Īfter taking repeated attacks, an enemy or ally may be “Knockdown” and unable to act for a short time. Some enemies (usually bosses) will unleash powerful attacks that can reset combo to 0. The higher the combo chain, the higher your damage modifier. Each skill will increase combo chain by 1. Upon reaching the 2nd Gear, you can activate multiple skills in a row by saving Ether. As your Gear Shifts, not only will your skills become more powerful, the Ether limit will also be raised, which allows your character to perform stronger skills that consume more Ether, or use more multiple skills during each action.Ĭharacters will transform into a Reflectors at 3rd Gear. Once a character’s Ether recovery speed reaches a certain level, their Gear will shift. The speed at which each character gain Ether will increase with each skill use (determined by the amount of up arrows there are for a skill), shortening the time between turns. Different skill will require different amount of Ether.Ĭharacters may perform as many skills as they like during each action, limited by the amount of Ether limit.Īfter an action, the character’s icon will move to the start of the Timeline. Character may consume Ether to activate skill once they pass the Action Line. Their icon will move in the timeline as they generate Ether. If you also swing your weapon to hit them to initiate the battle with an advantage of allowing your allies take action earlier.Īlso, if you hit them with the weapon during Search mode without them noticing, the battle will begins with the enemies being easier to Knockdown.Įach character will gain “Ether” as time passes. Having contact with an enemy on map will enter a battle with them.

During this mode, you won’t be able to run/dash. Search Mode allows you to see the line of scope for enemies, allowing you to avoid them, which is key in certain stealth mission. While exploring Heartscape, you can enter either Search Mode or Normal Mode. There are a number of different Heartscape, each corresponding to each character’s inner emotional world. Heartscape is where there are enemies on the map. School is where your base is, where you can interact with other characters, do crafting, build facilities, and accept requests. There are only 2 different dimensions in this game, School and Heartscape. By infusing their rings with their emotion power, they will be able to call forth their weapon known as “Reflector”. In their journey, they will encounter monsters known as Demons, and they have a magical ring used to fight these Demons. The objective is to go to different dimensions to collect memories fragment of each characters.

They have lost their memories prior to appearing in the new world. The game setting is where schoolgirls suddenly appeared in a magical world without people living there, except the few of them. I’ve played the first game many years ago, and I feel its more or less similar to the first game.Įven though there isn’t much requirement to play the first game, story wise there is still some connection, as the second game happens after the final boss in first game is defeated. This is the second game to the Blue Reflection series.
